Other Bodies

Seen from above through shallow, clear water, a rounded coral sits in a hollow of dark reef rock. Its ridges glow gold in low sun, and the hollows between them are a bright sea-green. The rock around it is mottled maroon, brown and moss-green.

Clusters of crimson flowers hang down through a tangle of large, dark green tropical leaves. Light comes through gaps above, catching the glossy surfaces, while the space behind falls into deep shadow.
